Rotoscope animation

Practice Works is a rotoscope animation focusing on movement and transitions, emphasizing progress through evolving design complexity as the video renders. The video narrates the development of my work as an artist through 500 layers of consecutive drawn images from different perspectives to generate movement with each continuous layer. Each character was rendered in a way that simulated a drawing being worked on while interpreting time passing using transitions within each interval of the finished character. The complexity of the composition suddenly alters and becomes more detailed as the animation progresses, emphasizing the development of craftmanship within each drawing. A visual interpretation that pertains to every artist, an animation showing that practice works
